Day 1 Thekkady :
Thekkady, is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Even a casual visitor to this place will not fail to observe the special ecological pattern of Thekkady. Check in to the resort. After lunch proceed for a spice plantation visit to visit cardamom, pepper, clove plantations. Evening back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Thekkady :
Morning proceed for a boat ride in the Periyar Lake to visit the Wildlife sanctuary. Back to the resort and overnight stay.
Day 3 Kumarakom :
After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck and migratory birds like the Siberian stork that live here in flocks are a fascination for visitors. The best way to watch the birds of the Kumarakom sanctuary is a boat trip round the islands. Check in to the resort. Evening visit the bird sanctuary. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 4 Cochin :
After breakfast proceed to Cochin. Kochi or Cochin is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula, in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, dubbed 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. Check in to the hotel. Aftrernoon depart for a sightseeing trip of cochin which includes St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue etc. Evening proceed for a Kathakali program or sunset cruise. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 5 Departure :
Depart for airport/railway station for your onward destination
