Day 1 Kovalam :
Arrival Trivandrum. Transfer to Kovalam. "Kovalam" means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. The crescent-shaped beach has three parts. The southern most beach, and the most popular, is light house beach. It offers an amazing sight of Vizhinjam mosque. The northern Samudra is a laidback one and time seems stands still here. The middle, hawah, in the early day, is a beehive of activities with fishermen setting out for sea. With a high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlit nights. Check in to the resort. Evening relax at the beach. Day 2 Kovalam :
Morning proceed for a city sightseeing of Trivandrum which includes Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, Napier Museum, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, Veli Tourist Village, Sankhumugham beach, Zoo etc. Evening back to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 3 Vagamon :
Proceed to Vagamon. Vagamon is a very ideal tourist spot surrounded by the greenery of tea gardens, beautiful meadows, deep puzzling valleys and dales. The enchanting hill station dotted with tea gardens will soon be one of India's foremost eco-tourism projects. Grass covered hills, velvet lawns and the cool mountain air make Vagamon a perfect holiday retreat. A curious blend of religious mysticism and European legacies, this hillside village is a haven of tranquility. Day 4 Vagamon :
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing which includes a visit to the waterfalls & lakes, drive through the forests, plantation visits etc. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 5 Kumarakom :
After breakfast the houseboat will drop you at a beautiful backwater resort at Kumarakom. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck and migratory birds like the Siberian stork that live here in flocks are a fascination for visitors. The best way to watch the birds of the Kumarakom sanctuary is a boat trip round the islands. Check in to the resort. Evening visit the bird sanctuary. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 6 Kumarakom :
Continue the stay at Kumarakom.
Day 7 Departure :
Depart for airport/railway station for your onward destination.
